In honour of Remembrance Day, we commend the talented students of Lytchett Manor School and Upton Junior School for creating a beautiful mural to honor those who served. The students showcased their artistic skills by crafting a powerful mural featuring symbols of wartime, including a hospital, a train transporting soldiers, a nurse, and military badges. The iconic clock tower was also included in the artwork. Special recognition goes to the students from Upton Junior School for their contribution in painting the poppies, a poignant symbol of remembrance. Thanks to the support and guidance of teachers and representatives from the Royal British Legion, the mural was completed on time and now proudly displayed on the British Legion wall. We extend our gratitude to all involved in bringing this meaningful project to fruition, especially the students for their dedication and enthusiasm. This mural stands as a touching tribute for all to appreciate and remember. |
